Fading Friends

I don't want to move mountains. I'd rather, climb them instead

I don't want to burn bridges...I'd rather watch from the edge

I don't want to be sheltered...I'd rather walk in the air

I don't want to build walls around me ....Rather run up the stairs

And it seems to me....There's a madness everywhere

In the stories that you read, and in the music that you hear

All I know is that life...isn't always fair

You can put away that past and rise above the fear

Fading Friends are like memories..They come and go like history

Some I learn to love, others I grow to hate

All in all it's just a twist of fate...

My fading friends...don't you call on my ...Fading friends

Fading Friends ...don't you call on me my fading friends

And it seems to me....There's a magic everywhere

In the children that you see and in the music that you hear

All I know is that life.....Yes, it's usually fair

If you can put away the past and rise above the fear

(Chorus)
